# The terms

Two short documents, in plain English: the **terms of use** and the **terms of sale**, both on the website. In short:

- **The agreement** is with Asclepeion Ltd, under the law of England and Wales.
- **Asclepiad is for adults.** You confirm the year you were born when you install the app. Someone under eighteen may join a session at a table only when an adult there confirms it.
- **The guests are AI.** Nothing a guest says is medical, legal or financial advice. Asclepiad is not therapy, treatment, or a substitute for a professional. If you are in danger, use the SOS control or call your local emergency number.
- **Your account lives on your phone.** The recovery code reopens it on another phone. We cannot recover it for you: lose the phone and the code, and the account and its AsclepiCoins are gone. You can delete the account at any time from Profile.
- **Your words are yours.** We do not sell what you say and do not train on it. What is kept, and for how long, is in the privacy policy.
- **AsclepiCoins** are used up as you go. They have no cash value and cannot be exchanged. A session that ends through a failure on our side usually gives its coins back automatically.
- **Behaviour.** Do not use Asclepiad to harm anyone, yourself included, or to get a guest to say something it should not.
- **Changes.** If the terms change in a way that matters, the app asks you to agree again.
