# Questions people ask

**Is the guest a real person?**
No. Every guest is an AI. You are told before you start, and a guest will tell you again if you ask.

**Do I need an email address or a password?**
No. The app makes an account on your phone and gives you a recovery code. Keep the code: it's the only way back into the account.

**I lost my phone. Can I get my account back?**
Yes, with your recovery code. Your AsclepiCoins come with it, and so does your list of past sessions: what each one cost and, for seven days, its gift. Memories don't, because they never left the old phone.

**Are my sessions recorded?**
You choose what to keep; a guest reads it only in a session you start, and the policy names the services that handle it.

**What are the terms?**
Plain English, two short pages on the website: the terms of use and the terms of sale. The short version: it's for adults, the guests are AI and give no medical, legal or financial advice, your account and coins live on your phone with a recovery code, and coins have no cash value.

**What does a session cost?**
Sessions are paid in AsclepiCoins: one AsclepiCoin is one minute. You're charged only for the minutes you use, and pausing stops the clock.

**What happens if my connection drops in the middle?**
Nothing is lost. Open the app again and it takes you to whatever the session still owes you, such as your gift or the chance to keep memories.

**Can I use it with my family?**
Yes. Together sessions are for a table of people, children included, where a child joins only when their parent or guardian agrees. Sessions on your own are for adults.

**What is the gift?**
Something the guest makes for you during the session: a recipe card, a letter, a plan, a picture, a story, a song. You can download or share it for seven days. Then it is deleted, and we keep no copy.

**Can I delete what the app remembers about me?**
Yes. Memories are on your phone, where they stay until you remove them. You can edit or remove any of them on the Memory page. You can also delete your whole account from the Profile page.

**Can I talk with a guest on this website?**
Yes. On a guest's page or an experience's page, choose "Quick chat" with that guest. The guest is an AI. You talk by voice, and during the chat you can also type to the guest. If you have no microphone, or don't allow it in your browser, you can chat by typing instead. Chats on the website are for adults, 18 and over. No audio is kept, and the words are deleted after 30 days. The privacy page on the website, asclepiad.ai/privacy.html, sets out what is kept and who processes it.

**Something isn't working. Who do I ask?**
Use the Help chat in the app. Kairos answers there.

**Is this therapy?**
No. If something is serious, the SOS button in a session opens emergency and helpline numbers: for the countries we list, that country's helplines; elsewhere, the emergency number.
