The Eibsee Asclepeion
Eibsee is a glacial lake in the Bavarian Alps, sitting at the foot of the Zugspitze. The Eibsee Asclepeion is a quiet corner of it — a pine tree behind you, alpine water still as glass in front, light that turns the surface a long shade of pewter at dusk and gold at dawn.
Inside the app, this Asclepeion is the one for dusk-and-dawn arrivals — when the world is between states and you are too. The lambda gateway here is a pair of leaning rocks at the lake's edge, the kind of formation that looks placed by hand but was placed by ten thousand winters.
What the place asks for
Eibsee is held. The light is reflective, not direct; the silence is the kind that water makes, not the kind that wind makes. It is the kind of place that is better for sitting with something you have already named, rather than for finding the name for the first time.
The launch place
Eibsee is the Asclepeion we are launching with. When you open the app, this is the place you step into — alpine water, pine, the Zugspitze in the distance. Other Asclepeia may come online over time as their experiences come together, but this is the one we are starting from.
