The legal documents, in plain words
There are four documents behind Asclepiad. Here is what each one is for, and the parts most people want to know.

The four documents
The Privacy policy says what we keep, for how long, who handles your words and what your rights are. The Terms of use are the agreement with Asclepeion Ltd, and they include the Terms of sale, which are the rules for paying. The Cookies page says what this website keeps on your device.
What we do not ask for
We do not ask for your name or your email. The app makes an account on your phone with a random identifier, and that is the only account. We do not collect a phone number, an address, a photo or a full date of birth. The app keeps only your birth month and year, never the day, to know it is for people 16 and over. We do not check it.
What we keep, and for how long
We keep a line about each session: which occasion, which guest, alone or together, how long, how it ended and what it cost us to run. None of the words of the session are in it, and it stays until you delete your account. The gift a session leaves is kept for seven days, then an automatic clear-out deletes it. Feedback you send after a session is kept as written, with a copy that has names removed, and nothing deletes it on a schedule yet. We have not yet set how long our technical logs are kept, and we say so on the page.
Who handles your words
A session runs on other companies' services. LiveKit carries the audio. AssemblyAI and ElevenLabs turn speech into text. ElevenLabs also speaks the guests' replies. Anthropic writes the guests' replies, and Replicate runs the picture models. Cloudflare runs our servers and storage. Anthropic, AssemblyAI and ElevenLabs process your words in the United States. We do not sell what you say, and we do not use it ourselves to train AI models. Anthropic is not allowed to use it to train its systems either.
Your rights, and how to use them
You can delete your account at any time from Profile in the app. That removes your sessions, support messages and notification details. The button does not reach copies held by the services, in backups or in logs: write to dpo@asclepeion.org and we will say what each holds. To ask what we hold, copy your account ID from Profile and email it to the same address. We reply within one month. You can also complain to the ICO.
One thing to know
The recovery code is shown once. If you lose the phone and the code, nobody, us included, can bring the account back.
We would rather tell you plainly what we keep than tell you we keep nothing.

Tell me how it wentIf a session helped, or did not, I would like to hear it. This is what asking for feedback means here.
Why no name, no emailMaking an account never asks for your name or email. That is a design choice with a price, and the price is a recovery code you need to keep safe.
Why a coin is a minuteTime with a guest is counted in AsclepiCoins, and one coin is one minute. Here is why we chose a unit you can feel, and how the clock behaves.
