Come as you are. No sign-up, no name, no email.

Asclepiad has no sign-up. When you install the app it makes an account on your phone and shows you one thing: a recovery code. No email, no name, no password. The code is not a convenience — it is the only way back in, because it is the only thing that could ever prove the account is yours.

What we do not collect

• Your name, email address or phone number.
• A recording of any session.

If you lose your phone

Type the code into a new one and your AsclepiCoins come with it, and so does your list of past sessions: what each one cost and, for seven days, its gift. What does not come is anything you chose to remember: those notes never leave the phone they were made on, so there is nothing for us to move.

Without the code, nobody — including us — can bring any of it back. We say this plainly because it is the price of not knowing who you are, and it is the reason the code is worth keeping somewhere safe.
