Talking, typing, reading
A session is spoken by default. Here are the two switches that let you type instead of talk, or read instead of listen, and what else helps.

I like tools that do one thing properly. A session in Asclepiad starts as a spoken conversation: you talk, the guest listens and talks back.
Speaking and listening
In some sessions the guest can also put things on the screen while it talks. That is there to help you follow, not to replace the voice.
Your own controls are plain: Pause, End session and SOS. If someone at the table said they are under eighteen, a Get a grown-up button also stays on screen. Pause stops the clock.
Two switches
During a session there are two switches. The first is on your side: Speak or Type. Choose Type and your microphone is off, so you write to the guest instead of talking.
The second is on the guest's side: Listen or Read. Choose Read and the guest's voice is off, and its words appear as text.
You can change either one as often as you like, and they do not depend on each other. The help chat with Kairos is typed too.
When it is hard
Large text is supported. On an iPhone you can open a guest by voice with Siri. If a session gives you a gift to listen to, you can skip it back or forward by thirty seconds. You can end a session at any point with End session.
A workshop has more than one door. I would like you to be able to use the one that suits you today.
